Case Study: Westbury
- Buckinghamshire
Project Overview
AC Developments is proud to have secured relevant permissions for a new housing community based in picturesque Westbury Village, situated on the border of Northamptonshire and Buckinghamshire. The development will comprise 5 separate houses built to the highest standards.
Currently in progress, the finished development will consist of a one bedroom, two bedroom, 3 bedroom and two five bedroom abodes. Two of the buildings will be constructed using high quality stone, whilst the remainder will utilize conventional brickwork. The peaceful location is a jewel in the countryside, situated in a conservation area and overseen by the local parish council. A nearby village trail depicts the history of Westbury through wood carvings; AC are as excited about contributing their own piece of history to the village in the form of the development.
Securing planning permission was no easy task, with limitations on development rights in the area due to the towns heritage. AC's persistence paid off however, as the benefits of the new development became clear to Aylesbury Vales district council and building rights were eventually secured. The mini community is situated just off a winding country lane, a more serene location would be difficult to find; making the development a discreet yet useful addition to the local community, which relies on the cooperation of its small group of residents.
Works are currently ongoing with two houses nearing completion, a further two under construction and the final one in the preparation stage. The finished area will feature parking facilities and a rain drainage system. AC have diligently kept local residents abreast of the plans to guarantee a smoothly run project.
